Update 28 July 2005:

It turned out that the lawsuit (trial: 7 December 2004, verdict: 22 December 2004) concerned only the texts about the holocaust and revisionism, and not the defense of the Palestinians itself. Some Dutch jews felt themselves hurt by these Holocaust texts.

It was however, quite remarkable that this state attorney demanded that not only the texts concerned, but all the other contents of the website (which has nothing to do with the holocaust texts or the holocaust as such) should be deleted, I should get then a 'reduction of punishment'. The reason of this strange demand, however, has never been revealed to me. Neither the reason of his telling  untruths and even cursing at me (calling me a 'neo-nazi' and even  a 'bile-spitting fool'). My lawyer said that he has the right to do this all. Righteousness in the Dutch way. 

Because it was not my purpose to hurt either Jews or anyone else here in the Netherlands (in spite of what the state attorney wanted the court and the press to believe), and because my lawyer advised in starting up the site, to do it carefully, I'll start up Dutchpal again, but (of course) without any texts about the Holocaust, and step by step.

For the time being: only the diary of the Palestinian journalist Kawther Salam.

Het bleek dat de rechtszaak (proces: 7 december 2004, uitspraak: 22 december 2004) alleen de teksten over de holocaust en revisionisme betrof, en niet de feitelijke verdediging van de Palestijnen. Enkele Nederlandse joden voelden zich beledigd door deze holocaust-teksten. 

Merkwaardig was wel dat de officier van justitie eiste dat niet alleen de betreffende teksten, maar de hele website zou worden verwijderd, ik zou dan 'aanspraak op strafvermindering' kunnen krijgen. De reden van deze vreemde eis werd mij echter nooit onthuld. De reden van het vertellen van onwaarheden en zelfs een scheldpartij naar mij toe (hij noemde mij neo-nazi en zelfs een 'galspuwende zot') door deze officier van justitie, evenmin.  Mijn advocate vertelde mij dat hij daar het recht toe heeft. Is dit rechtvaardig? Rechtvaardigheid op z'n Nederlands.

Omdat het niet mijn bedoeling was om joden of wie dan ook  te beledigen (ondanks wat de officier van justitie de rechtbank en de pers wilde laten geloven), en omdat mijn advocate mij adviseerde dat de website wel weer kon worden opgestart, maar dit voorzichtig te doen, zal ik Dutchpal weer opstarten, maar - natuurlijk - zonder de holocaust teksten en stap voor stap.

Voorlopig: alleen het dagboek van de Palestijnse journalist Kawther Salam.

Wil je een e-mail sturen? Koppel de woorden "weg met de spam" samen, dus aaneengesloten, dan het "@" teken (apestaartje), en daarachter de naam van deze website zonder "www".
De reden van deze raadseltjes-achtige constructie is om het spammers zo moeilijk mogelijk te maken, daar het vroegere adres vorig jaar werd vergiftigd met 3944 e-mails van spam-rotzooi (dus gemiddeld ongeveer 11 spams per dag). Op deze manier - zoals boven beschreven - kun je het (nieuwe) e-mail adres maken.

The reason of this riddle-like construction is to make spammers as difficult as possible, as my previous address was poisoned by 3944 e-mails of spam-garbage last year (about 11 spams each day, in average). In this way - as described above - you create the (new) e-mail address.
